Kid Rock was less than Rockin'
I have always enjoyed Toro Y Moi's show, having seen it numerous times. Unfortunately, I did not know what to expect from the venue. Uncle Kracker was opening for him, which I was expecting to enjoy. Marcus Amphitheater has absolutely terrible acoustics, and I could barely understand any of the lyrics, even though I know most of his songs by heart. Some might think this was just a bad performance on Toro Y Moi's part, but I am quick to point out that Uncle Kracker's performance was an exact duplicate. Upon leaving this event with a sour taste in my mouth, I moved on to a ZZ Top concert a short distance away in an outdoor setting and was pleasantly surprised by a crisp, clean sound. Toro Y Moi, I love you man, but please scout your venues before agreeing to concerts!
